About
Dr Eneberi
Dr Eneberi is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, which means that she is trained to doctoral level to deliver a range of evidence-based interventions. She has worked clinically for over 13 years, providing psychological support to children, young people and adults with mild, moderate and severe difficulties within the NHS, other public sector settings and the private sector. Over the course of her career, she has worked with children, young people and adults with anxiety and other anxiety disorders (including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social anxiety, Panic Disorder (with and without agoraphobia) and seperation anxiety), depression, Bipolar, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Complex Trauma and Developmental Trauma. She has worked with children and adults with neurodevelopmental conditions. She has also worked closely with parents to help them understand their child's behaviour or emotional health better and find alternative ways of responding that result in behaviour change, maintained relationships and improved emotional functioning.

Dr Eneberi is skilled in the completion of complex assessments, which helps her to understand a client's difficulties and identify the most appropriate intervention. She is integrative in her practice, which means that she draws on different therapeutic approaches whilst working with clients in order to best meet their needs, to account for any barriers and/or required adaptations. Typically, Dr Eneberi draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-informed approaches, Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy when completing individual work. When working with parent-child dyads or families, she draws on Developmental Psychology, Systemic Therapy, Attachment-focused therapies (including Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Theraplay © and Video Interaction Guidance).
Dr Eneberi believes that a key component of any successful therapy is the relationship a therapist is able to form with their client(s). As such, she places emphasis on relationship building and creating safety throughout her therapeutic work. This can look different dependent on who she is working with; with adults, Dr Eneberi believes in collaboration. There are several circumstances in people's lives where they have no control and have had things done to them without their consent. Dr Eneberi does not want to replicate this with her clients when this can be avoided. Dr Eneberi encourages clients to talk openly about when the ideas/concepts/strategies she introduces them to fit and when they don't quite feel right. She also checks in with clients regularly to gauge their experience of the therapeutic space. With children and young people, Dr Eneberi uses creativity and playfulness in her work to talk to children and families about their experiences and what they may be struggling with. She is also more mindful of children's developmental stages and what this might mean for what they can and cannot do,and therefore, what should and should not be realistically expected from them in therapy.

Dr Eneberi has been told that she has a very calm, yet engaging demeanour, which she brings with her to therapy.
